TALLAHASSEE, Fla. The 2016-17 season opener against Duke and Minnesota on Oct. 8 at the Morcom Aquatics Center has been cancelled due to Hurricane Matthew.“The storm affected the travel plans of both teams,” FSU head coach Neal Studd said. “We didn’t want to put any student-athlete in harm’s way and thought it was best to cancel. Hopefully we can find another date that works best to have this meet.”
All three teams are looking to reschedule the meet at a later date this season.
Florida State will host Florida in the annual Sunshine State Showdown on Oct. 13 at the Morcom Aquatics Center at 2 p.m.
