Season Bests Fall At Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. –
All three runners who competed at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational in Stanford, Calif. turned in stellar performances as season bests for each runner fell during the meet.


Opening up competition was David Forrester who set a season best in the 1500m run when he clocked a 3:43.32 to finish 10th in the most competitive section of the event.


Meanwhile, in the 5000m run the duo of Mike Fout were both in action. Leeder ran a 14:04.18 to finish in 20th place in the top section.


Fout also clocked a season best with a time of 14:01.25, claiming third place overall in the second section.


The distance runners will return home this week as the Mike Long Track will serve as the host of one of the premier meets in the country with the Seminole Twilight getting under way on Friday, May 7.
