TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida State University men’s and women’s
basketball teams will host their annual Fan Day celebration on Oct. 15 from
3-5 p.m. on the main floor of the Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center.
All members of both nationally renowned teams will be available to sign
autographs and pose for pictures as their fans are given a chance to get to
know their favorite players unlike ever before. Admission is free and the
event is open to the public.

In addition to being able to meet the members of both the
Seminoles’ men’s and women’s teams, fans are invited to participate in a
number of interactive games designed for participants of all ages. The
interactive games include basketball shooting competitions, an inflatable
football toss, a putting green for golf enthusiasts and various video
games. Prizes will be handed out throughout the event.

The always-popular tattoo and banner-making stations as well as
coloring areas for younger fans will be set up to add to the overall
Seminole flavor of the day. In addition, fans will have the chance to have
their picture taken in an actual Florida State basketball locker with an
actual game uniform and basketball.

Free schedule magnets, posters, schedule cards and Seminole mini
balls will be available for all in attendance.

The Seminole cheerleaders and Golden Girls as well as the Seminole
Warrior and Cimarron will be at the event and will participate in many of
the activities and contests.
