The Seminoles got a scare out of Jacksonville State on Saturday, but took care of business at the very end. A remarkable number of you season ticket holders stayed in the stands through the downpour and despite the lackluster game. We will all be tuned in to Versus network to watch FSU and BYU this weekend, while listening to the game live on the ISP Seminoles Sports Network. Remember, you can only watch on Versus because of the Mountain West Conference’s contract
with CBS and Versus. In addition, the network has refused to allow Sun Sports to show the game tape delayed, so you had better contact your cable operator to see where you can see Versus in your area.
College football experts say that Provo is one of the surprisingly tough places for opposing teams to grab a win. As if the altitude and taller than normal grass is not enough, BYU may have its best team in years. Their defense used controlled blitzes with outstanding
discipline in the secondary to knock off Oklahoma. BYU’s offense is its usual pass happy self, but ESPN analysts have noted that the Cougars leave few offensive mistakes on the table for defenses. It is one of the toughest tickets in BYU history, but a chance for the Seminole to vault right back into the Top 25.
We appreciate your support of FSU football and hope that we will see you wearing white next Saturday at noon against South Florida.
