Seminole fans should remember that while your calendar shows that we are nearing October, Tallahassee is still hot at noon. We’ve got a complete sell-out set for tomorrow so on top of the temperature which is expected to climb to 87 degrees which may fill a bit warmer with the stands full. Our trainers suggest that bringing a bandana and wetting if frequently and wrapping around your neck is as good as any other method for staying cool. The fact that the entire stands
as well as the football team should be WEARING WHITE tomorrow will give us a leg up on handling this rare noon home game.
Season ticket holders should also remember that it is Military Appreciation Day which has become a special occasion every year at a home football game. Tomorrow is no exception as we will have a mobile Veterans display at Langford Green prior to the game. The Army will swear in 50 cadets at Langford Green prior to the game and the
Marching Chiefs’ pregame show will be geared towards the four military branches. The flyover will be by the Air Force and a joint Army/Air Force ROTC cadet march-on will occur during the National Anthem. We will recognize two Wounded Warriors along with 15 current FSU students who recently returned from tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. We actually have a veteran on our team in walk-on defensive back Ricardo Cannon. The Athletics Department offered
reduced price tickets to the game at a number of military installations in north and central Florida.
