Seminole Men’s Basketball Reunion Set For Feb. 13-14, 2004

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
The Florida State University men’s basketball team, the Department of Athletics, Seminole Boosters the Florida State Varsity Club will host a reunion of the men’s basketball team Feb. 13-14, 2004.


The reunion will allow former players to reconnect with teammates, meet the new Seminole coaching staff and players and enjoy a tour of the new state-of-the-art Florida State Basketball Training Center. The returning players will also be treated to the Seminoles’ game against Clemson in the Civic Center.


The 2002 reunion of the men’s basketball players and coaches was a huge success. The 2004 event is sure to be even more exciting as the current Seminoles under Head Coach Leonard Hamilton are earning increased amounts of national respect as they have gotten off to one of the quickest starts in school history. The Seminoles were picked to finish as high in the Atlantic Coast Conference as they have been in the last 10 years and optimism abounds on the basketball courts of Tallahassee.

7:00 p.m. Reception at the Varsity Club


Feb. 14
7:30 a.m. Open gym at the Basketball Training Center
10:00 a.m. Tours of the Basketball Training Center
10:30 a.m. Brunch at the Civic Center
Noon Seminoles vs. Clemson
(Alumni recognition on the court at halftime)
2:30 p.m. Post game reception with current
Seminole players and coaching staff
