Seminole Men’s Golf Team Concludes Season With 11th Place Finish At Atlanta Intercollegiate

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. –
The Florida State men’s golf team finished in 11th place at the Atlanta Intercollegiate with sophomore Rusty Mosley finishing as the highest ranking Seminole in a tie for 28th place. The event was the final tournament of the season for the Seminoles who earned five top-10 team finishes in seven tournaments this spring.


Mosley (Vidalia, Ga.) finished the event with a 220 score for the three round event. His 54-hole score tied his best tournament score of the 2003 spring season and was tied for his third best of the 2002-03 fall and spring seasons combined. Mosley was at even par after the first two rounds of the event and finished as the Seminoles’ leading golfer in for the fifth time this season.


Sophomore Matt Adcock (Apopka, Fla.) led the Seminoles in the third round with a four-over par score of 75. He finished with a 54-hole score of 223 – his second best of the spring and fourth best for the entire 2002-03 season. Adcock finished the season as the Seminoles’ leading golfer with a 74.40 stroke average in 20 rounds during seven tournaments.


Junior Tim Vickers (Alpharetta, Ga.), sophomore Mark Sestilio (Punta Gorda, Fla.) and freshman Adam Wallace (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.) also competed for the Seminoles.
