TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Seminole fans will have a great opportunity to see the Florida State Women’s Soccer team in action this fall with seven matches included as part of the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Olympic Sport broadcast coverage.
Five matches will air live on ESPN3, one on the Regional Sports Network and one more on the ACC Digital Network which will be streamed live on YouTube.
Florida State will kick-off its broadcast schedule under the lights of the Seminole Soccer Complex on ESPN3 when FSU hosts intra-state rival Florida at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31. Other ESPN3 broadcasts include home matches against Duke (Sept. 13) and Virginia (Oct. 14) and two road contests against North Carolina (Sept. 27) and NC State (Sept. 30).
The match-up between Florida State and Virginia Tech in Tallahassee on Thursday, October 11 will air live on the league’s Regional Sports Network (RSN) at 8:00 p.m. RSN reaches nearly 32 million households and includes FOX Sports Florida, Sun Sports, FOX Sports Carolinas, SportSouth, Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic and NESN. All ACC games produced as part of the RSN package will also be available on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app in locations beyond the RSN territory.
The regular season finale against Miami down in Coral Gables, Fla., on Thursday, October 25 will be streamed live as part of the ACC Digital Network’s new partnership with YouTube.
All of the ACC Fall Championships’ (Men’s & Women’s Soccer and Field Hockey) semifinals and championship games will be distributed live. ESPN3 will carry the Women’s Soccer semifinals contest, while ESPNU will showcase the ACC Championship games on November 4 at 1:00 p.m.
The ACC’s fall broadcast schedule includes 77 games, totaling 145 school appearances – the highest count in history for ACC fall Olympic sports and more than twice as many as the previous high.
