Tallahassee, FL — New Seminole soccer head coach Mark Krikorian will get his first look at his new team playing something other than an intra-squad scrimmage this Saturday. Florida State will open its spring campaign at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at home versus the Florida Renegades club team. It will be one of only two chances FSU soccer fans will have to watch the Seminoles in action at home this spring.
After opening the spring slate at home this weekend, the Seminoles will be off for spring break before returning to action in Boca Raton, FL Sunday, March 19. They will then return home for their final spring appearance at the Seminole Soccer Complex. The Seminoles will welcome in the Georgia state ODP team and the Fusion club side Sunday, March 26.
After a to be determined trip the first weekend in April, the Tribe will wrap-up the 2005 spring slate in Cary, NC at the ACC Spring Jamboree. The all-ACC event will be held at the SAS Soccer Park. It is the first time the Seminoles have been to the ACC Jamboree in five years.
Both spring dates at the Seminole Soccer Complex will be open to fans who want to come out and get a first look at the new Krikorian-led Seminole soccer program. The former U-17 National Team boss is returning to the college game after successful stints with the US National Team and Philadelphia Charge of the WUSA.
