With a 3-0 record, the Florida State volleyball team is off to an impressive start. Prior to this season, the Seminoles have started a year 3-0 just seven other times since 1976 and three of those years, FSU advanced to the NCAA Tournament and all the way to regionals in 1977.
Led by Amanda Santos’ .574 hitting, FSU is hitting .323 as a team while its opponents are at .024.
Santos and Aisha Carr have combined for 28 total blocks in FSU’s first three matches.
Setter Jessica Skower not only leads the team in assists at 135 (12.27 per game), but also in service aces with six.
