    Tallahassee, Fla. –Returning home after an 0-2 weekend, the Florida State volleyball team hosts its final ACC matches of the regular season. The Seminoles, 11-9 in the ACC, host NC State and North Carolina around the Thanksgiving holiday.

    The Seminoles defeated both NC State and UNC in North Carolina in their first meetings last month. The Wolfpack was swept in three while the Tar Heels were taken out 3-2.

    The NC State match will be Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 7:00 p.m. inside Tully Gym. Following the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, FSU will host its final match against UNC at 1:00 p.m. Friday the 23. Both matches will be streamed live on ACC Select.

    Fans are reminded that Friday’s afternoon match is also senior day. The Florida State volleyball team will be honoring seniors Makini Thompson and Summer Weissing as they compete in their finals games as Seminoles.

    Florida State Quick Hits:
    • Florida State has not lost at home to North Carolina since Oct. 1, 2000 when the Tar Heels won in five (9-15, 15-2, 15-6, 9-15, 13-15).

    • The NC State Wolfpack has not won a single ACC match this season and enter Lucy McDaniel Court No. 12 in the conference with a 0-20 record.

    • NC State defeated the Seminoles at home last season 3-2 (28-30, 22-30, 30-23, 30-24, 14-16), but were swept by FSU in North Carolina this year.

    • Senior libero Summer Weissing, who broke the Florida State career digs record against Boston College on Nov. 9, enters the week with a total of 1,836. She is ranked No. 8 for digs in the ACC with 456 this season.

    • The Seminoles drop to No. 6 in the ACC after a disappointing weekend against Clemson and Georgia Tech. If they win both home matches this week, they could finish as high as No. 4 (if Virginia loses both of its matches)

    • Junior Mira Djuric remains fourth in the NCAA for service aces, averaging 0.75 per game.

    • Florida State is one of six ACC teams ranked in the top 100 for RPI. The Seminoles are No. 81, ahead of North Carolina at No 100.
