Prestipino and teammate Tyler Johnson finished tied for the team’s best 18-hole score when they both shot seven-over par scores of 80 in the first round.

Freshman Ashley Kemp also put together an impressive performance, finishing in ninth place earning the first top-10 finish of her career. The Tampa, Fla. native finished with a 36-hole score of 164 and ranked third among entrants with her score on par fives firing as she finished even on the extended holes.

Other Seminoles in finishing the top 20 included the before-mentioned Johnson, sophomore Michelle Steakin (12th) and junior Jennifer Harvey who finished tied with freshman Kim Haskins for 19th.
