GREENSBORO, N.C.- With six student-athletes on the ACC All-Academic team, Florida State women’s swimming and diving team is tops in the ACC as announced Thursday, July 5.
Juniors Abbie King (Brunswick, ME) and Stacy Rademacher (Charlotte, NC), sophomores Ann Cipoletti (Charleston, WV) and Caroline Robertson (Ocala, FL) and freshman Jennifer Guyler (Palm Harbor, FL) and Ashley Lawler (Iowa City, IA) made the list of 40 competitors.
King was an honorable mention All-American as part of the 200 medley relay team that placed 11th at the NCAA Championships.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
The announcement comes on the heels of the Seminoles men’s team putting 5 student-athletes on the All-Academic team giving Florida State a total of 11, more than any other ACC school.
