  • Winner of its last two games, the Florida State women’s basketball team is off for seven days around the Christmas holiday. The Seminoles are back at home on Thursday (Dec) 27 when they take on Samford at 7 p.m.

  • Fans can receive free admission to the game if they bring an unwanted holiday gift for regifting.

  • Guard Mara Freshour (Nashville, Ind.) recorded her first collegiate double-double when she scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the 66-52 victory over UAB on December 20.

  • Following Thursday’s game, the Seminoles migrate south for the FIU Fun and Sun Classic. FSU opens the tournament against No. 7 Georgia on December 29 at 7:30 pm then takes on either host Florida International or Hofstra the next night.

  • Forward Cayla Moore (Albany, Ga.) reached double-digit rebounds for the first time in her FSU career when she pulled in 11 boards at UAB.

Seminoles Back At The Tucker Center To Face Samford
Compared to the 26-day stretch between home games, 11 days seems like nothing. Now that all the gifts have been unwrapped, it’s time for the Florida State women’s basketball team to get back on the hardwood. The Seminoles return to the Donald L. Tucker Center on Thursday (December 27) to take on Samford in a 7 p.m. tilt. The game can be heard on 1270 AM as well as Seminoles.com. In addition, the game can be seen live on ACC Select.
