TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) – Coretta Brown scored 21 points, and Kenya McBee led
a second-half rally that gave No. 19 North Carolina a 93-81 win Wednesday night
over Florida State.

The Tar Heels (11-2, 3-0 ACC) used a 22-7 run to take control of the game
after trailing for much of the second half. McBee scored nine of her 14 points
during the run, which came after Florida State (10-4, 1-2) held a 65-61 lead.

April Traylor scored 16 of her 24 points in the first half for the
Seminoles.

The big run came after officials gave North Carolina coach Sylvia Hatchell a
technical foul for arguing that one of her players had been fouled. Hatchell
said she intentionally took the technical to rouse her team.

North Carolina outrebounded Florida State 49-33 and got 25 offensive
rebounds. Candace Sutton scored 16 points for the Tar Heels, while Chrystal
Baptist had 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Linnea Liljestrand added 13 points and Tasheika Morris had 12 for the
Seminoles.
