Seminoles Extend Gesture Of Complimentary Tickets To Those Displaced By Hurricane Ivan

Sept. 17, 2004

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
Florida State University wants to extend a gesture of hospitality to those who are experiencing the traumatic results of Hurricanes Charley, Frances and Ivan, by providing complimentary tickets to its football home opener tomorrow night. FSU is offering individuals who are in the Tallahassee area, and are among the many people throughout the southeast who have been displaced by the three recent hurricanes, two complimentary tickets for the Seminoles’ game against UAB on Saturday, September 18.

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis as long as the supply of 1,500 tickets remain. These extra tickets became available when UAB did not utilize a portion of their contractual allotment.

Tickets will be available at the ticket booth at Dick Howser Baseball Stadium across from the east side of Doak Campbell Stadium beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Good weather is forecast for the Tallahassee area tomorrow with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. EDT.
