“We wanted to scrimmage yesterday but we couldn’t because of the weather so we got it in today,” said head coach Bobby Bowden. “There were no severe injuries but we had a couple of injured guys got back out there today. Like anything there was good and bad but I thought there was more good than bad. There was some good hitting and some pretty good catching and some pretty good throwing.”

Rix completed three of his final six passes including a 42-yard strike and a 22-yard touchdown pass to Dominic Robinson. Robinson was the leading receiver with three catches for 78 yards and one touchdown. He caught passes of 14, 22 and 42 yards. Sam caught three passes for 49 yards and Thorpe caught one pass for 59 yards.
