    Tallahassee, Fla. –Florida State returns home to Tully Gym coming off a 1-1 weekend in North Carolina to host Boston College and Maryland on Nov. 9 and 10. The Seminoles fell to both the Eagles and Terrapins on the road last month but look to extend their home winning streak to four this weekend.

    Florida State dropped a very close 2-3 (30-17, 30-18, 29-31, 20-30, 7-15) after match at Boston College on Oct. 13. The Seminoles came back after being down two games to none, but the Eagles dominated game five to take the win.

    The garnet and gold was unable to maintain its early lead in the first match against Maryland this season as it ended in a 1-3 (30-26, 28-30, 28-30, 18-30). FSU looks to secure its first victory over the Terps since Sept. 22 of last season on Lucy McDaniel Court Saturday.

    Florida State Quick Hits:
    • Florida State leads the all-time series against Boston College 5-1.

    • Maryland leads the all-time series against FSU 22-13.

    • The Seminoles hold their spot at No. 5 in the ACC this week coming off a 1-1 weekend in North Carolina. After defeating Wake Forest 3-0 and dropping 3-2 to Duke, FSU stands at 12-12 on the season and 9-7 in the conference.

    • The win at Wake Forest gave the Seminoles a six-match winning streak, the longest under head coach Todd Kress since 2001. The last time FSU won six straight ACC matches was in 1998 under then-head coach Cecile Reynaud.

    • Senior libero Summer Weissing is only 10 digs away from matching the current career record of 1,771 held by Luiza Ramos. Weissing currently has 382 digs this year, a total of 1,761 overall.
