Rain Suspends Second Round

Opelika, Ala. –
The Florida State University women’s golf team is in a tie for 17th place at the NCAA Women’s Golf Championship at the Grand National Golf Course. The second round was competed Thursday morning after it was delayed by rain and lighting Wednesday. The 12 teams that did not complete the second round finished play before the beginning of the scheduled third round.


Senior Alison Curdt leads the Seminoles with a 36-hole total of 147. She began round three in a tie for 38th place. Senior Carrie Sordel began the day in a tie for 61st place with a two-day total of 150.
