Florida State will look to get back on the winning track Monday night when it takes on No. 12/13 North Carolina at 7 p.m. in Carmichael Arena.
The Seminoles dropped the opening game of a two-game road trip at Duke on Friday as FSU suffered its worst loss of the season.
FSU has been impressive in the past two years in bounce back games as the Seminoles have had just one losing streak of more than one game in the past two years. In the three previous losses in the 2009-10 season the Seminoles have answered with three wins by an average of 35.7.
A 77-70 win at home a year ago snapped a three-game losing streak against North Carolina. Cierra Bravard turned in a double-double in the win with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Scouting North Carolina
North Carolina has won three in a row after back-to-back road losses to No. 1 Connecticut and Virginia Tech.
The Tar Heels hold sole possession of second place at the moment with a 4-1 league mark.
The guard duo of Italee Lucas and Cetera DeGraffenreid lead the Tar Heels as Lucas is averaging 16.8 ppg, doing most of her damage from behind the three-point line. DeGraffenreid ranks second in the ACC in assists with 5.5 per contest and is scoring 13.6 ppg.
Last Time Out
Courtney Ward scored 11 points, but the Seminoles (18-4, 4-2) had a season-high 27 turnovers and had their four-game winning streak snapped with their most lopsided loss of the season. After falling behind by 19 in the first half, they didn’t get closer than 15 after the break.
The loss was the second on the road this season after FSU went 13-0 away from the Tucker Center a year ago.
Courtney Ward was the lone Seminole to reach double-figures as she tallied 11 in the contest.
The Seminoles shot a season-low 29.6 from the field and were outrebounded by 21 (51-30). It was just the fourth time this season that the Seminoles were outrebounded.
Up Next For The Seminoles
The Seminoles return home for a two-game homestand against Wake Forest (Feb. 7) and Clemson (Feb. 11). The contest against the Demon Deacons will be the WBCA Pink Zone game for the year.
