Seminoles’ Men’s 4×400 Relay Team Shares ACC Performer Of The Week Honors

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
The Florida State track and field team earned its first Atlantic Coast Conference Track and Field Performer of the Week honor for the 2002 outdoor season Tuesday when the conference office announced that the 4×400-meter relay team would share the accolade with Clemson’s Mike Cvelbar.


The relay squad of senior Michael Jennings, junior Kolby Jones and sophomores Anseu Mushonga and Cedrick Robinson won last Saturday at the Florida State Relays with a NCAA provisional time of 3:06.89.


Cvelbar provisionally qualified for the decathlon with 7,482 points.


The Seminoles will return to the track on Thursday, March 28, for the four-day long Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla.
