AUBURN, Ala. (AP)–Alexa Deluzio scored a career-high 23 points and No. 16 Florida State rallied for a 67-61 win over Auburn on Monday night.
The Seminoles (2-0) made six free throws in the final minute to break a 61-all tie after trailing by as many as nine.
The Seminoles committed 29 turnovers but hammered Auburn on the boards, finishing with a 47-29 rebounding advantage.
Auburn (1-1), which used a 16-0 run to take a 30-23 lead into halftime, got a career-high 16 points from Blanche Alverson and 15 each from Jordan Greenleaf and Morgan Toles.
Sharp-shooting Tigers guard Alli Smalley struggled from the field, scoring six points on 2 of 15 shooting.
