On Sunday, October 11, select student-athletes volunteered at the Celebrity Waiter Dinner held at the Goodwood Museum and Garden.

This charity event is held annually to help raise funds for the Dick Howser Center for Childhood Services. The Dick Howser Center is a non-profit organization that provides therapy, training and educational instruction to children exhibiting developmental delay. In addition, the respite program provides temporary relief for families with members with permanent disabilities while advocacy groups lobby on behalf of disabled persons. There is also a day care program that provides comprehensive full inclusion services. The preschool program provides schooling for typical peers or siblings age 6 weeks to 3 years.
