Nov. 10, 1999

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Andrew Wilson of Kennesaw, Ga. has signed a
national letter of intent to play basketball at Florida State University.

Wilson averaged 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game
as a junior at Harrison High School last season. He hit 55 percent of his
field goal attempts and made 80 percent from the line a year ago. The 6-6
guard/forward has been regarded as one of the nation’s top 100 prospects by
most publications.

“Andrew loves Florida State University and I think he has a great
future here,” said Florida State head coach Steve Robinson. “He is very
competitive and knows one speed on the court – all out. I think his
toughness, along with his ability to shoot and defend will be a big plus to
our program. He is a winner on the court and off it and we are fortunate
to have someone of his character in this basketball program.”

Wilson, whose parents are both Florida State graduates, selected
the Seminoles over Georgia Tech, Clemson and Vanderbilt.
