Seniors Lead Men’s Tennis to Victory over Maryland

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The senior quartet of Ty Braswell, Yvo Niks, Davidson
Kozlowski, and Mike Ingham led a dominating performance by the Seminoles in
a 7-0 shutout victory over the Maryland Terrapins.


The four scored straight-set victories in singles action at No.1, No.2,
No.3, and No.4, respectively.


With the win, Florida State evened its conference record at 1-1, while
improving to 8-4 overall.


Other winners included: Chad Mooney, 6-3, 6-1, at No.5 singles; Noah
Schnell, 6-1, 6-1 at No.6.


Braswell and Kozlowski were 8-3 winners at No.1 doubles; Ingham and Niks
won, 8-4, at No.2; and Gerald Casas and Jeff Scarella, 8-2, at No.3.


Florida State concludes its road trip tomorrow afternoon with a 2 p.m.
match against the Duke Blue Devils.
