Shanda Bradley joined the FSU Sports Medicine staff in June of 2006 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Bradley’s primary responsibility is to oversee and coordinate the day to day operations of the Don Fauls Athletic Training room. She also assists with the rehabilitations of athletes from various sports at FSU. Additionally, she serves as an adjunct instructor in the College of Nutrition and Physical Education, Recreation, and Sports Administration.


Prior to her employment at Florida State, Bradley served as Associate Director of Sports Medicine at the University of Southern Mississippi and Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Wyoming. During her two years at USM (2004-2006) she was primarily responsible for the medical coverage and rehabilitation of women’s basketball, cheerleading, and tennis as well as overseeing the daily operations of the athletic training room. Bradley spent three years (2001-2004) at the University of Wyoming where she was the athletic trainer for the women’s basketball, women’s soccer, wrestling, and golf teams. Both these universities have accredited athletic training programs in which she was an approved clinical instructor.


In 2003, Bradley was published as a contributing author in Managing Sports: And Risk Management Strategies.


Bradley received her Master’s of Arts degree in Sport Management from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina in May of 2001. During her time at ASU, Fuqua served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer working with the football, men’s soccer and women’s soccer programs.


A native of Ozark, Alabama, Bradley received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Performance with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of Southern Mississippi in May of 1999.


Bradley has been a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association since 1999. Currently she is also a certified member of the Southeastern Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Athletic Trainers’ Association of Florida.
