Soccer Summer Camps

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Want a chance to learn from the national champions? Get that opportunity this summer in Tallahassee at the Mark Krikorian Soccer Academy. Mark your calendars as three different weeks of soccer camps have been set in June and July in 2015.

The Indoor Day Camp (June 15-18) offers boys and girls aged 5-18 an opportunity to develop fundamental soccer skills in an environment that promotes soccer confidence, enjoyment, and good sportsmanship. One of the highlights of the camp is the famed “World Cup”, where players are placed into teams representing different countries for a round robin tournament on the last day of camp. Groups are formed based on age and ability to ensure a fantastic experience for every camper. The FSU coaching staff runs the Indoor Day Academy on a rotational basis so that each group has access to all the coaches. The camp will also be held inside FSU’s state-of-the-art Indoor Athletic Training Facility. Half Day Price: $225 per person; Full Day Price: $400 per person.

Team Residential Academy (July 10-13) is available for both individual and team registration for female soccer players ages 12-18.  What makes the Team Academy unique is the use of the team’s coaching staff input along with cutting edge video technology to create a powerful learning environment. Players will gain a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities within the structure of the team. The use of video analysis of the actual team in action gives exact visual feedback and allows the FSU staff to design training sessions to meet the unique needs of the team. Other benefits of the Team Academy are: specialized daily goalkeeper training, MCL/ACL injury prevention, nutrition for the elite athlete, and guidance in the recruiting process. Price: $575 per person.

Coaches are encouraged to accompany their team free of charge. A daily coach’s forum takes place to exchange ideas and to provide Q & A with the FSU coaching staff. It takes a minimum of 14 players and a max of 20 players to register a team. Your registration process can be tailored to your needs and requirements but to secure a spot at the academy it takes an application and deposit. Additionally, each team must have a designated team chaperone accompany the team for the duration of the academy.

The Elite Residential Camp (July 24-27) is designed for the serious soccer player (ages 11-18) and draws some of the best young talent from across the nation and even internationally to Tallahassee. The mission of the elite academy is simple: provide every player with an unforgettable soccer experience that takes them to a new playing level. To help accomplish this Mark Krikorian brings in a combination of elite college and club coaches with current and former collegiate players. The primary focus will be on technical application, as technique is the foundation of all success. Campers will be introduced to the tactical side of the game and be afforded a firsthand glimpse into the “beautiful game” that is Seminole Soccer. Price: $595 per person.

Registration for all three camps will be available shortly at SeminoleSoccerCamps.com. If you have any questions about the three camps offered this summer at the Mark Krikorian Soccer Academy, please contact Nathan Minion at 850-645-3200 or via email at nminion@fsu.edu.
