2015:

Appeared in 48 games making 45 starts after missing the first 16 games to start the season due to a knee injury…finished the year hitting .229 as the Seminole designated hitter with seven home runs, seven doubles and 36 RBI in his only season at Florida State…tied for fifth on the team in home runs, fifth in RBI and fourth in walks with 40…was also plunked eight times – fifth most HBPs on the team…made his Seminole debut against UCF (3/10) going 1-for-3 with two RBI and a walk…tied a season-high with three walks in four games while drawing multiple walks in a game 12 times…finished the season ranked 14th in the ACC in walks and 56th nationally…hit .467 (7-for-15)  over a four-game stretch against Florida and Pitt with five home runs, 13 RBI and six runs scored en route to earning Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball National  Player of the Week and ACC Player of the Week honors…hit a home run in all four games including two in the series opener against the Panthers for his first multi-home run game as a Seminole…finished that game against Pitt (4/17) with a season-high three hits and six RBI…his solo home run to open the week against Florida tied the game in the bottom of the eighth to eventually force extra innings…became the first player in ACC history to win a weekly award at two different schools (Duke)…posted a .273 average in the ACC Tournament with three hits, four RBI, three walks and two HBPs to earn a spot on the ACC All-Tournament Team…finished the year with 11 multi-RBI games – tied for the third most on the team.

DUKE UNIVERSITY:

Played three seasons at Duke and was a .275 career hitter making 167 starts between first base, the outfield and designated hitter…recorded 172 hits including 43 doubles, 13 triples and 20 home runs as a Blue Devil…tallied 116 runs and 123 RBI, while posting a .481 slugging percentage and .370 on-base percentage…posted a .993 fielding percentage at Duke committing just eight errors in 1,104 chances…garnered second All-ACC honors in 2014 as he was the only Blue Devil to play in and start all 58 games…led the team and ranked sixth in the ACC with a career-best 46 RBI…also ranked fourth in the league in home runs (8) and eighth in triples (3)…belted eight home runs in back-to-back seasons (2013-2014) and was one of 16 Blue Devils to total 20 or more home runs for a career…registered 38 or more RBI in each of his three seasons at Duke ending his career with 123 RBI to become the 25th player in Blue Devils history to surpass the 120 career RBI plateau…missed the 2012 season due to an injury…named Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American in 2011 after starting 55 games during his freshman campaign…hit .291 with 60 hits in his first season at Duke.

HIGH SCHOOL:

Three-year letterwinner at Battle Ground Academy…hit .490 with four home runs and 20 RBI in 15 games as a senior…tabbed Preseason All-America second team honors…garnered all-state, all-district, all-region and first team all-county honors as a junior…selected to the Power Showcase in 2008 and 2009…also lettered on the basketball team for three years and on the football team as a freshman…selected to the National Honor Society as a sophomore.

PERSONAL:

Son of Glen and Kim Marconcini…has two brothers, Matthew and Stephen…earned his bachelor’s degree at Duke University following the spring 2014 semester; currently pursuing a master’s degree in business marketing…born on Feb. 18, 1992.
