2012:

Went 3-2 with a 2.33 ERA in 18 relief appearances as a senior…made his season debut in the series finale against Hofstra and faced the minimum in the ninth to finish off the series sweep…earned the win against Jacksonville working 3.1 innings in relief en route to recording a career-high seven strikeouts…worked 2.0 scoreless innings at UCF (3/6) in game one – gave up just one hit and struck out a batter in earning his second win of the season…threw a season-high 4.1 innings allowing just one run while scattering six hits to move to 3-0 on the year picking up the victory in relief in game two at Georgia Tech…appeared in the ninth inning of the first Super Regional game against Stanford and struck out the side on just 11 pitches…made his final appearance as a Seminole in the College World Series matchup against Stony Brook – pitched a 1-2-3 ninth as the Noles defeated the Seawolves.

2011:

Appeared in 21 games making one start in his first season at Florida State…finished the season third on the team with 20 relief appearances…compiled a season ERA of 4.58 in 39.1 innings with 31 strikeouts…impressive numbers out of the bullpen for FSU working 36.1 innings with a 2-1 record, two saves, a 3.47 ERA and 29 strikeouts…began his Seminole career allowing just one run in his first seven appearances – a span of 9.1 innings pitched…worked 2.2 shutout innings against Boston College to earn his first collegiate win…picked up his first save as he closed out game one of the Maryland series in College Park with 3.0 innings of one-hit ball and three strikeouts…posted season-highs in innings pitched (5.1) and strikeouts (5) in the series finale against Duke to earn his second career victory…lone start came in the middle game at Virginia Tech throwing 3.0 innings in earning a no decision…made three appearances in the NCAA Tournament while pitching twice in the Super Regional against Texas A&M…worked a combined 3.2 scoreless innings against the Aggies allowing just three hits and one walk while striking out five…earned his second save of the season in a game two victory over Texas A&M.

TALLAHASSEE CC:

Played for former Seminole Mike McLeod with the Eagles…strong student who earned All-Academic honors…in 2010 made 15 appearances and went 4-2 coming out of the bullpen…sat out the 2009 season as a medical redshirt recovering from Tommy John surgery…as a freshman in 2008 was a teammate of current Seminole Daniel Bennett…went 2-2 as a starter with eight appearances.

HIGH SCHOOL:

Played two years of varsity ball at Barron Collier…used predominantly as a closer and was on the mound when his team knocked off the nation’s top-ranked team, Nova, in the 5A Regional semifinal…helped Barron Collier reach the state semifinals in 2006.

PERSONAL:

Son of Steve and Cindi Waugh…sister Blair attends Florida State…major is criminology, minor in communications…an avid golfer…father is a golf professional and mother is a Nike golf sales rep…also enjoys hunting and fishing…born January 20, 1988.
