Appeared in 27 games of the 2016 season…earned a 2.49 ERA, second lowest on the team behind only Alec Byrd’s 2.20…struck out 16 batters in 25.1 innings pitched and kept the opponent average to a team second-lowest .188 (of pitchers with more than 20 innings pitched)…was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association’s 2016 Stopper of the Year Watch List prior to entering the 2016 season…surrendered two hits and struck out one in his first appearance as a Seminole on February 21 in the 23-4 win against Rhode Island…collected his first win of the season against Pittsburgh on March 18 when he held them hitless for 1.1 innings…earned his second win of his FSU career when he held No. 13 NC State batters hitless for 2.1 innings in the Noles’ 8-5 win on March 25…pitched a perfect eighth inning in FSU’s 5-4 win over Miami in the ACC Championship Series, to help deliver the Seminoles to the ACC Championship Game against Clemson…named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll…ended his Florida State career with a 3-0 winning record, 16 strikeouts, and 25.1 innings pitched.

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2015-Belmont):

Made a team-high 35 appearances, all in relief…compiled a 3-5 record with a team-high six saves and a 1.80 ERA…finished with 62 strikeouts and only 16 walks in 55 innings of work while allowing 11 earned runs and holding opponents to a .210 batting average…registered multiple innings in relief in 18 of his 35 appearances…threw 4.0 innings to shut the door against SIUE recording a career-high five strikeouts (April 4)…threw 2.0 scoreless innings against Notre Dame (Feb. 27) recording two strikeouts…faced the minimum in working 2.0 scoreless innings in relief against No. 4 Vanderbilt (April 14) recording four strikeouts and earning the save on the road…two weeks later recorded another save against No. 5 Vanderbilt (April 28) in 1.1 innings of work, striking out the last three batters he faced at home…faced the minimum in 3.0 innings against Southeast Missouri State (5/15) recording four strikeouts while earning the save to clinch an OVC tournament berth…threw in three of the four OVC tournament games for the Bruins…recorded 7.2 innings of work tallied nine strikeouts while only allowing one run, earning him OVC All-Tournament Team Honors…2015 OVC Second-Team All Conference…2015 OVC Academic Honor Roll.

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2014-Belmont):

Appeared in 43 games, including 31 starts…recorded 15 RBI with five doubles and four home runs…went 4-for-5 on stolen bases for the season…also made one appearance on the mound…recorded a career-best three hits against Eastern Kentucky (March 23)…named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

SOPHOMORE (2013-Belmont):

Redshirted.

FRESHMAN (2012-Belmont):

Played in eight games, including four appearances on the mound…finished his rookie campaign 1-for-6 at the plate, drawing two walks and one RBI…pitched 2.1 innings for the Bruins.

HIGH SCHOOL:

Played at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School under Head Coach Andy Harlin…was a team captain and led the team in batting with an average of .493…earned the Tyler Flowers Award and the Gold Glove Award at Blessed Trinity…also played football.

PERSONAL:
