FRESHMAN (2017):

Made 19 appearances in the 2017 season and started 15 games…ended the year with a 6-3 record, along with 93 strikeouts through 91.2 innings pitched…made his collegiate debut on February 18 against VCU when he pitched a one-run ninth inning before Florida State claimed the 12-3 victory…picked up his first win of the season on his first career start on February 26 against Samford with his six inning, one-run performance that came with six strikeouts…pitched six shutout innings on March 11 against Boston College, where he was able to tally five more strikeouts and add on his second win of the season…pitched a career game on March 25 at Notre Dame with a complete game, one-unearned run outing that earned the Seminoles a 5-1 win, with the Fighting Irish offense notching just three hits…hurled seven and two-thirds innings in the series finale against Pacific, where he held the Tigers to just three runs, giving him his fourth quality start of the year…came in to pitch in relief in the ACC Championship game against North Carolina on May 28 in which he pitched 2.2 hitless innings to help lead FSU to the 7-3 victory…pitched a dominant 7.1 innings in the first game of the Tallahassee Regional, as he allowed just one run and struck out a career-high 12 Tennessee Tech batters on June 2…threw five scoreless innings of two-hit baseball while leading the Seminoles to the 19-0 Super Regional win over Sam Houston State, sending Florida State into their 22nd College World Series berth.


Graduated from Rockledge High School in Rockledge, Fla….2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game honorable mention All-American…named to the Florida All-Region Second Team…ranked the No. 7 left-handed pitcher in Florida by Perfect Game…fastball can dip into the low 90s.
