Played in 35 games and started in 10 of the 2017 season…collected 11 hits, eight RBI, and seven runs in his 51 at-bats…made six pitching appearances in which he garnered a 2.70 ERA with his three and one-third innings pitched…entered right field in the ninth inning of the opener of the ACC Tournament, and in the 11th inning, made a perfect throw to catcher Cal Raleigh on a Notre Dame fly out to nab the runner at the plate and end the inning with the score still tied at 3-3; FSU would win in the 12th inning…hit his first home run of the season (and third of his career) on June 5 against Auburn in the final game of the NCAA Tallahassee Regional that allowed FSU to advance to Super Regionals.
Started 20 games in his sophomore season, while appearing in 51…drew more walks (18) than he had hits (14)…had a multi-RBI game on June 4 in the Tallahassee Regional, going 1-for-3 with his second career home run (his first of the season) to help FSU claim its 7-2 victory against Southern Miss…participated in a summer ball league in 2016 with the Santa Barbara Foresters, where he served primarily as a right handed relief pitcher, during which he threw 9.2 innings with a 0.00 ERA and earned 11 strikeouts in five appearances.
