Appeared in just one game as a Seminole in 2016…pitched 0.2 innings, allowed two hits, and surrendered a pair of runs and walks…in his sole appearance, he also collected two strikeouts against St. John’s on March 4 before being shut down for the season due to an injury…ended his FSU career with 18 innings pitched, 13 strikeouts recorded, and an opponent average of .227.
Received a redshirt in 2015.
Appeared in 14 games for the Noles, including two starts on the mound during his first season…finished with a 1-0 record and 6.23 ERA over 17.1 innings pitched…threw a career-high 2.2 innings out of the bullpen against Miami (Feb. 28) in just his second appearance at Florida State, surrendering only a walk while striking out two…put together scoreless appearances against UCF twice (March 12/May 13), Notre Dame (April 4), Florida (April 8) and Wake Forest (April 20)…picked up his only win of the season against the Fighting Irish, striking out a batter in an inning pitched as the Noles rallied for an 8-7, walk-off win in extra innings…allowed opponents to hit just .210 off him, good for third best on the team…made his Seminole debut against Niagara (February 15) in the season-opening series…recorded multiple strikeouts in three appearances including a season-high two strikeouts three times – against Miami (February 28), at UCF (March 12) and against Florida (April 8).
A four year varsity player at Jensen Beach High School…garnered Florida All-Region first team accolades in 2013…also named a third team Rawlings All-American in 2013…earned All-Area honors (2012 & 2013)…named a Perfect Game All American…honored on the All-Region Underclass third team in 2012…posted a 7-0 record with a 0.77 ERA and 68 strikeouts following his junior year…was a three year honor roll student at Jensen Beach.
