SENIOR SEASON (2016):

ACCOLADES – CCSA Academic Honor Roll…ACC Academic Honor Roll…Led FSU to the inaugural NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships and a national runner-up finish in Gulf Shores, Ala….posted an overall record of 25-6, 23-5 in dual-match play and 2-1 in tournament action…played at the No. 3, 4 and 5 positions in 2016…partnered with four different Seminoles on the year going 14-3 with Kayla Joyce, 9-2 with Macy Jerger, 1-1 with Katie Horton and 1-0 with Vanessa Freire…of the 14 wins posted with Joyce, eight came against ranked schools…opened the season winning six of seven matches on the west coast with three straight coming against Long Beach State (March 9), Loyola Marymount (March 11) and Southern Cal (March 11) – all in straight sets…the win over USC’s No. 4 team helped the Seminoles snap the Women of Troy’s 19-game home winning streak…collected three wins over ranked opponents while playing with Jerger…went 3-1 with one DNF in leading the Noles to a conference title…defeated South Carolina twice and UAB, all in straight sets, at the CCSA Tournament…paired with Jerger at the LSU Beach Invitational and finished second in the Gold Bracket Pairs Tournament after going 2-1 and falling to Grand Canyon’s All-American, No. 1 pair of Mackenzie Phelps and Shannon Dugan…partnered with Katie Horton for the final five matches of the season at the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships…went 1-1 while three matches resulted in a DNF…defeated Hawaii’s Lora Schreiper and Hannah Zalopany in straight sets to advance FSU into the winner’s bracket semifinals…finished with a career record of 65-22 and a winning percentage of .747.

JUNIOR SEASON (2015):

Had the fifth most wins on the team after finishing the season with a 21-7 record…saw action on courts 3, 4, and 5…paired with three teammates for the year, posting an 18-5 record with Vanessa Freire, a 2-0 record with Julia Thompson, and a 1-2 record with Blyss Harkness…paired with Montgomery at the LMU/USC Pairs Tournament (3/14) at the No. 4 position…pulled off a 31-29 upset victory over USC’s No. 2 pairs in the round of 16…collected team points for FSU in dual match victories over Arizona State, Tulane, UAB and South Carolina at the No. 4 spot…earned a point for FSU in a 3-2 loss to Georgia State at No. 4…picked up a straight set victory against Carson-Newman at the No. 3 position at the Gamecock Invitational…finished the tournament with a 5-1 record…won the Team Cup Gold Bracket with Freire at the Siesta Key Tournament (April 12) posting a 6-1 record on the day…won the Team Cup AA Bracket paired with Julia Thompson with a 2-0 sweep of Georgia State at the FSU Pairs Tournament (April 19)…played at the No. 4 position in both matches with Montgomery at the AVCA National Championships in Gulf Shores, Ala….dropped their opening round match to No. 3 FIU (May 1) in straight sets (18-21, 13-21)…bounced back to earn the Noles a point in the consolation round against No. 2 Hawaii (May 1) winning in three sets (18-21, 21-18, 15-7)…helped the Seminoles to a tie for seventh place at the national tournament.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014):

Paired up with teammate Julia Thompson all season long to post a 14-7 record…jumped around the starting lineup, playing on Courts 3, 4, and 5…went 6-1 in dual match play…won her only dual match on Court 3 in straight sets against Jacksonville, 21-17, 21-17 (March 29)…won both dual matches on court 4 against South Carolina, 21-9, 21-14 (March 29) and against LSU, 21-13, 21-9 (March 29).

FRESHMAN SEASON (2013):

Paired with senior Amanda Saxton to go 5-2 in tournament play during the 2013 season…finished in seventh place with Blyss Harkness during the Panama City Beach tournament (March 23).

HIGH SCHOOL:

 Named the Sarasota Herald Tribune’s Volleyball Player of the Year at Cardinal Mooney High School in 2011-12…team captain who averaged 15 kills per game and led her prep squad to a 17-12 record and appearance in the region quarterfinals…four-year varsity starter and team MVP her senior year…all-Bradenton Area Honorable Mention her junior and senior year…all-Sarasota Honorable Mention her junior year…trained and coached by professional beach volleyball players Kristen Batt and Joe Rohr…has been playing sand volleyball for four years…played in beach tournaments each summer…student government president in high school.

PERSONAL:

 Daughter of Scott and Kim Montgomery…brother, Craig, played football at Georgetown University as a long snapper and was invited to Chicago Bears mini-camp…three-time member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll…earned her bachelor’s degree in sport management in the spring of 2016…born July 25, 1993.
