SENIOR SEASON (2016):

ACCOLADES – AVCA All-American…CCSA Pair of the Year…CCSA First Team All-Conference…CCSA Academic All-Conference…Pair MVP of CCSA Tournament…CCSA All-Tournament Team…CCSA Academic Honor Roll…ACC Academic Honor Roll…two-time CCSA Pair of the Week with Jace Pardon (3/29/16 & 4/12/16)…Led FSU to the inaugural NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships and a national runner-up finish in Gulf Shores, Ala….partnered with Pardon for 33 matches – all at the No. 1 position…finished the season with a 28-5 dual-match record posting victories over 16 ranked teams including nine schools ranked in the top 10…at one stretch during the season, recorded a season-high 15 straight match victories…provided the match clinching victory 10 times in 2016 – second most on the team…finished the season 6-1 in three set matches with one resulting in a ‘DNF’ during the NCAA Tournament…at the inaugural NCAA Championships posted a record of 2-2 collecting wins over Hawaii (May 6) and UCLA (May 8)…both losses in Gulf Shores came against Southern Cal’s No. 1 pair Kelly Claes and Sara Hughes…went 12-0 against CCSA competition including a perfect 5-0 record at the CCSA Conference Tournament leading the Seminoles to the inaugural conference title…won four of their five matches during the CCSA Tournament in straight sets including a 21-16, 21-19 victory over Georgia State’s Jansen Button and Sara Olivova in the championship final…earned first CCSA Pair of the Week honor after defeating three top 10 ranked teams at the Stetson Beach Invitational (FIU, UCLA & Hawaii, March 25-26)…second CCSA Pair of the Week accolade came after going 4-0 at the Siesta Key Tournament (April 9-10) posting straight set victories in all four matches including the clincher to break a 2-2 tie to defeat No. 17 North Florida…became the sixth Seminole Beach All-American since the program’s inception in 2012…leaves Florida State with a career record of 95-35 as she ranks fifth all-time in wins…her 74 dual-match victories are the third most in school history.

JUNIOR SEASON (2015):

Posted a record of 16-9 while pairing with four different teammates…finished the year with the eighth most wins on the team…went 8-4 playing with Melanie Pavels, 7-2 with Katherine Plessy, 1-1 with Cecilie Woie and 0-2 with Stephanie Pellitteri…saw action at the No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 positions throughout the year…paired with Woie at the No. 5 position in both matches at the AVCA National Championships…fell in three sets (21-18, 11-21, 14-16) in the opening round match against No. 3 FIU (May 1)…bounced back to earn the Noles a point in the consolation round against No. 2 Hawaii (May 1) winning in three sets (21-10, 18-21, 17-15)…helped the Seminoles to a tie for seventh place at the national tournament in Gulf Shores, AL…went 3-4 in dual matches against ranked teams picking up wins at No. 4 position over No. 9 FIU (March 7), No. 3 position over No. 5 Long Beach State (March 10) and No. 5 position over No. 2 Hawaii (May 1)…finished the year with a 5-2 record in tournament action.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014):

Teamed with partner Melanie Pavels all season on courts 2, 3, and 4…finished the year with a 26-11 record, which marked the second-most wins by a pair on the Noles…went 4-1 at the AVCA National Championships on Court 4…dropped a match to Pepperdine’s No. 4 pair on the first day of the National Championships (May 2), but rebounded to beat the same team in two sets, 21-14, 24-22, in the National Championship Finals (May 3)…also defeated Hawaii’s No. 4 team in the National Championship Semifinals in a grueling three set match, 21-17, 11-21, 15-7 (May 3)…won nine straight matches in the beginning of April, including all 18 sets during that span (April 5-18)…held a 6-3 record in dual matches against ranked teams…went 3-0 in Pool B at the Florida State Pairs Challenge to advance to the Gold bracket (April 18)…won the Fiesta on Siesta Key Team Cup Gold Bracket after overpowering a tandem from Webber International, 25-14 (April 12)…went undefeated in four matches to help the Seminoles capture the College of Charleston Sand Classic (April 5-6)…fell to teammates Fatma Yildirim and Sarah Wickstrom in the Silver bracket finals at the FSU Sand Invitational Pairs Tournament, 22-24, 24-22, 16-14 (March 30).

FRESHMAN SEASON (2013):

Named FSU’s Most Improved Player…began her collegiate career with three consecutive wins paired with Sarah Wickstrom as FSU’s No. 4 team…finished 2013 with a 25-10 record while playing with three different teammates…went 21-8 playing with Melanie Pavels, 3-1 with Wickstrom, and 1-1 with Jace Pardon…in dual matches, finished 17-3 overall (1-1 at No. 1, 6-1 at No. 2, 6-0 at No. 3, and 4-1 at No. 4)…placed third at the Panama City Beach tournament (March 23)…Placed second with Pavels at the Atlanta, Ga. event (April 7)…reached the semifinals of the Siesta Key Tournament with Pavels (April 14)…went 0-2 with Pavels at the FSU Sand Tournament (April 21)…went 3-1 at the AVCA National Championships in Gulf Shores, Ala., beating teams from ULM, eventual national champion Long Beach State, and North Florida before falling to Pepperdine (May 3-4).

HIGH SCHOOL:

 Has experience with both indoor and beach volleyball…star outside hitter at Oviedo High School while being named to the all-conference team in 2010 and 2011…third-team All-Central Florida selection as a junior with 141 kills and 102 digs while earning the school’s MVP award…improved her senior season to 278 kills and 213 digs while leading Oviedo to its fourth consecutive regional tournament…named to the all-tournament team while leading her team to a 4-1 record in the Dig Pink Festival…has experience playing sand volleyball with teammate and fellow sophomore Kayla Joyce, who teamed up at the USA Beach Volleyball Junior Tour National Championship Tournament to take home second-place honors…the duo started playing sand volleyball together in 2009 and have not finished worse than third in any tournament they’ve entered…competed for Club Beach Dig along with Joyce and fellow sophomore Kristina Pellitteri.

PERSONAL:

Daughter of Kay and Dave Brown…has one brother, Thatcher…earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management in the spring of 2016…a four-time ACC Academic Honor Roll honoree…made the Dean’s list three semesters…born on December 12, 1993.
