REDSHIRT JUNIOR SEASON (2016):

 ACCOLADES – CCSA Academic All-Conference…CCSA Academic Honor Roll…ACC Academic Honor Roll…recipient of the 2016 ACC Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarship Award Recipient…Finished her final season at Florida State with an overall record of 7-4 including a 6-2 mark in dual-match play…competed at the No. 3 (0-1), 4 (2-1) and 5 (4-0) positions in 2016…played with four different partners on the year going 3-2 with Blyss Harkness, 2-1 with Hailey Luke, 1-0 with Ali Eager and 1-1 with Kayla Joyce…partnered with Luke to open the 2016 season picking up wins over South Carolina and Arizona State (March 4) in Tempe at the No. 5 spot before falling in three sets to Grand Canyon’s No. 4 pair…went 3-1 in dual-match play with Blyss Harkness posting victories over Cal State Northridge (March 10) and Texas A&M CC (March 20) at No. 4 and a straight set win over College of Charleston on Senior Day (April 16) at No. 5…fell in straight sets to No. 3 UCLA in Santa Monica at the third position…paired with Kayla Joyce at the LSU Beach Invitational (April 3) and finished in a tie for third in the Gold Bracket Pairs Tournament after going 1-1.

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON (2015):

Posted a 15-5 record on the season…paired with four teammates throughout the year…went 7-2 with Julie Brown, 5-2 with Taylor Nyquist, 2-0 with Blyss Harkness and 1-1 with Vanessa Freire…saw action on courts 2, 3, 4 and 5…opened the season with Freire to give FSU a point at the No. 5 position to beat Stetson (March 7) 3-2…paired with Nyquist to earn FSU a point at the No. 3 position in their 3-2 victory over Loyola Marymount (March 13)…dropped a straight set match to USC at the No. 2 spot…won all four matches in straight sets at the Gamecock Invitational with Nyquist, including earning a point in FSU’s 3-2 loss to Georgia State (3/22)…won the Silver Bracket paired with Harkness, helping FSU go 7-0 against Gulf Coast State College…won the AAA Bracket of the Fiesta on Siesta Key Tournament paired with Brown after posting a 5-1 record.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014):

Redshirted in 2014 following an injury.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2013):

Finished her first season with a 21-7 overall record…played with four teammates on the year: (Aurora Davis, 14-3; Melanie Pavels, 5-4; Mallory Kiley and Blyss Harkness, 1-0 each)…finished 1-0 at No. 1, 3-2 at No. 2, 7-2 at No. 3 and 1-0 at No. 4 in dual matches…placed third at the Panama City Beach Tournament (March 23)…won the Silver bracket title with Davis at the Atlanta, Ga., event (April 7)…along with Davis defeated teammates Kiley and Sarah Wickstrom in straight sets for the title…reached the quarterfinals of the Siesta Key Tournament with Davis before falling in straight sets to teammates Pavels and Julie Brown (April 14)…took second place at the FSU Sand Tournament with Davis in the Silver bracket (April 21)…duo lost in the finals to teammates Nina and Stephanie Pellitteri in a three-set thriller…went 3-1 on court three with Davis at the AVCA National Championships in Gulf Shores, Ala…beat teams from ULM, Long Beach State, and North Florida before falling to Pepperdine in straight sets (May 3-4).

HIGH SCHOOL:

Star indoor player at Walton High School in Cobb, Ga., where she captured all-state, all-area and all-county honors her sophomore, junior and senior years…she and Lexy Ryan are FSU sand volleyball’s first two players from the “Peach State”…led by Plessy, Walton edged Ryan’s Harrison (Kennesaw, Ga.) High School squad in five sets to win its second straight Georgia Class AAAAA state championship in 2011…named to the honor roll and was a member of the National Honors Society.

PERSONAL:

Daughter of Rena and Antoine Plessy…has two older brothers, David and Chris…earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology in the spring of 2016…member of the Dean’s List and the President’s List at Florida State…four-time member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll…served as president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council at FSU and the ACC (2015-16)…also served as secretary at Florida State…awarded a postgraduate internship with the NCAA in Championships and Alliances for the 2016-17 season…born November 23, 1993.
