2016:

Appeared in all 13 games, primarily on special teams…recorded 11 total tackles, five solo…set a career-high with three total tackles (two unassisted) against Charleston Southern…also recorded two tackles against NC State…recorded a tackle in seven games as a leader on the punt and kickoff coverage units…recognized for academic success at end-of-year banquet.

2015:

Played in seven games…big contributor on special teams all season long…recorded a tackle against Chattanooga in FSU’s regular season home finale…was one of three players to be recognized for their hard work and performance as Offensive Scout Team MVP at the end of the year banquet.

PERSONAL:

Graduated from Aucilla Christian in nearby Monticello…father David was an All-American golfer at Florida…first earned playing time in 2015, when he traveled with the special teams unit to Georgia Tech…was originally planning to walk-on at Florida A&M before former FSU coach Jim Gladden showed his high school highlight tape to Lawrence Dawsey and Jackson came to FSU as a preferred walk-on…over 1,200 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior at Aucilla Christian, while adding 100 tackles and five interceptions on defense.
