Sophomore Season (2016-17):

  • Did not compete in any tournaments.

Freshman Season (2015-16):

• Played well in two spring tournaments at the SunTrust Gator Invitational and the Seminole Intercollegiate.
• Shot a 3-over 219 (74-71-74) at the Seminole Intercollegiate, tying for 41st at FSU’s home tournament on Southwood Golf Course.
• Shot a 9-over 219 (73-73-73) at the SunTrust Gator Invitational, tying for 46th

Before FSU:

  • Played golf at Newsome High School, where he was named MVP all four years.
  • Won the Class 3A individual state title in 2014 on a very sore right ankle, shooting a 6-under 138 (71-67) at Deer Island Country Club in Tavares.
  • Won district and regional championships over a three-year span.
  • Won the 2012 Florida Junior Match Play.
  • Finished third at both the Greg Norman Champions Golf Academy Junior Championship and the AJGA Junior in 2014.
  • Enjoyed Top 5 finishes in 2013 at the FJT at Innisbrook (218), AJGA E-Z-GO Vaughn Taylor (215) and the AJGA Ocala (213).
  • Participated in the 2015 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup, tying for 44th individually and helping the USA to a fourth-place finish.

  • Born: Oct. 7, 1996.
  • Parents: Son of Ron Bakich and the late Colleen Walker, an FSU Athletics Hall of Famer who won nine times on the LPGA Tour.
  • Major: Double majoring in sport management and business.
