Redshirt Freshman Season (2018)

Versatile and dynamic player in her first season of collegiate softball as she helped the Seminoles win the 2018 NCAA National Championship…was named to the 2018 Women’s College World Series All-Tournament Team after leading the team and tournament with nine RBI, along with five hits, a double, two home runs and five runs scored…the nine RBI in the 2018 WCWS ranks in a tie for fourth in tournament history and she safely advanced eight runners to set a WCWS record…for the season, she tallied a .282 batting average (42-for-149) with 12 doubles, one triple and seven home runs with 34 RBI, 22 walks, 37 runs scored and 14 stolen bases…recorded five sacrifice flies, which led the team, and ranked 15th in the NCAA…hit an RBI single in her first career plate appearance and later scored a run versus Portland State (Feb 9)…pinch ran and scored, and later drew a walk against No. 14 Minnesota on February 16…had a single and also drove in the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly on February 18 vs. Michigan…batted 2-for-3 with a double and her first career home run on February 24 against Georgia State…hit a double, walked, scored a run and drove in an RBI on March 3 against Florida Gulf Coast…drove in the game-winning run against No. 6 Oregon on March 4 with a sacrifice fly…walked twice, stole a base and scored a run against Penn on March 8…had a pair of hits at North Florida on March 10, a double and a two-run home run…drove in the first run of both games of a doubleheader against Troy on March 21. She hit a solo home run in game one and drew a bases-loaded walk in game two. She finished the day 3-for-3 from the plate with two walks, four RBI and two runs scored…was 2-for-3 from the plate with a double and two RBI on March 24 against Syracuse…walked, stole a base and scored a run in FSU’s 5-4 win over the Orange on March 25… earned NFCA Top Performer of the Week honors on March 27…had two hits, including a double on March 30 at Georgia Tech…tied a season high with two stolen bases on March 31 at GT…batted 5-for-7 over both games of the doubleheader against No. 19 Louisiana, including a double, two RBI, three runs scored and three stolen bases…went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base against Pitt on April 8…drove in a run, stole a base and scored in FSU’s come-from-behind win over BC on April 13…tallied three RBI and hit her fourth home run of the season in FSU’s 8-0 win against Louisville (4/22)…walked and hit a home run at NC State on May 4…singled, walked, stole a base and scored in FSU’s 7-4 win over Louisville in the ACC Tournament on May 10…drew two walks and scored two runs, including one each in the seventh inning, as Florida State won the 2018 ACC Championship with a 5-4 win over Pitt on May 12…hit an RBI single and scored as part of a six-run inning on May 18 against Jacksonville State…walked, hit a sacrifice fly and scored a run on June 2 against Georgia…hit a double and drove in the first two runs of the game against No. 1 Oregon in a 4-1 win over the Ducks in a WCWS elimination game on June 2…hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to carry the Seminoles to a 3-1 come-from-behind win over No. 3 UCLA on June 3…batted 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in game two of the WCWS Championship Series against No. 5 Washington on June 5 as FSU won its first NCAA National Championship with a 8-3 win over the Huskies.

High School

Excelled at Gaither High School in Tampa, Fla., earning All-Western Conference accolades in all four seasons for the Cowboys…recorded her best season in 2016, earning All-Hillsborough County, All-Tampa Bay and 7A All-State First Team honors on her way to being named the Florida Athletic Coaches Association District 15 Class 7A Player of the Year…participated on the Clearwater Bombers Gold (Mason) travel ball team, earning a USSSA World Series championship in 2012 and winning ASA National Qualifiers in 2013 and 2015…also competed for Gaither on the volleyball team, earning Most Valuable Player honors as a junior as she registered the most aces and kills on the team…an excellent student and held a 6.4 GPA and was among the top five percentile at Gaither while being a member of the National Honor Society and the Beta Club…chose Florida State after being recruited by West Point, Alabama and Boston College, among others…mentioned that one of the reasons that she chose Florida State was how the players treated her like a sister and the coaches made her feel like a part of the family.
