Redshirt Freshman Season (2014)

Earned 20 starts in the outfield and appeared in 56 games after coming back from an injury in 2013…batted .306 with 13 runs, 19 hits, 18 RBI and 11 walks…went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored against New Mexico State on February 7…set a new career high with three walks against Nebraska on February 9…drew two walks, including a bases-loaded RBI walk, in her two plate appearances on Feb. 15 against North Dakota State…went a perfect 3-for-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run scored in FSU’s 12-0 win vs. Southern Miss (2/16)…batted 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in FSU’s 15-0 victory over Virginia (3/9)…had an RBI single as part of a seven-run inning in FSU’s 12-0 win over Virginia Tech on March 11 in Ft. Myers, Fla….hit her first career home run in game two of a doubleheader against North Carolina on March 30…credited with an RBI on a bases-loaded walk on April 5 versus Maryland…recorded a single in her only at bat against Notre Dame in the ACC Championship Game on May 10.

Freshman Season (2013)

Got off to a great start but her first season was cut short by an ankle injury…received a medical redshirt…started all four of her games played in right field…was perfect from the plate against Bethune-Cookman going 4-for-4 with a double, three runs scored and five RBIs…finished the game against Jacksonville batting 2-for-3 with a double and registered her first stolen base as a Seminole…recorded two RBIs in the season opener against Florida A&M on Feb. 8…through four games batted .462 (6-for-13) with two doubles and eight RBIs…batted second in the order in every game played.

High School

Phenomenal softball player at Niceville High School…was the first National Fastpitch Coaches Association High School All-American to sign at FSU since Brittany Joseph in 2007…named an NFCA First-Team High School All-American…batted .518 with four home runs, five triples and 36 RBIs from the leadoff spot as a senior…earned NFCA second-team All-America honors as a junior…batted .550 while leading her high school to its first-ever state title…managed not to strike out at all as a junior…earned all-county and all-regional honors in all four seasons of high school ball…5A state second team player as a sophomore…5A player of the year in junior season…won gold for the 18U nationals team in the same year…earned Northwest Florida Player of the Year and 6A state player of the year honors following senior year…named the All Sports Association/Daily News Big School Softball Player of the Year as she led Niceville to the 6A runner-up spot in senior season…member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student.

Born on Aug. 23, 1994…majoring in History…daughter of Yvonne and Bob Hartness…favorite movie is Remember The Titans…favorite song is More Than A Feeling by Boston…favorite ice cream is moose tracks…cannot live without her parents…loves watching Criminal Minds…most played song on her iPod is Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam…would like to add Oklahoma to the schedule…wears the number three because of Babe Ruth…enjoys ancient and medieval history…loves home-cooked pizza…names communication, confidence, integrity and respect as qualities that make a team leader…has learned team commitment from playing sports…sport idol as a child and person she would most like to meet is former softball standout Natasha Watley…has ambitions of being a college professor.
