Qualified for his first career NCAA Championships in the 200 fly where he placed 24th with a time of 1:43.17…turned in his personal best swim in the 100 fly at the NCAA Championships with a time of 46.97… was seventh in the 200 IM at the ACC Championships (1:45.59) after swimming a personal best of 1:45.12 in prelims…placed 16th in the 400 IM and 10th in the 200 fly…swam his personal best 200 fly in a time trial at ACCs at 1:42.44…finished fourth in the 200 IM (1:46.91) third in the 400 IM (3:49.59) at the GT Invite…also added a 10th place finish in the 100 fly after swimming a personal best of 47.59 in prelims…placed fourth in the 200 fly at 1:45.71.


Scored points in the 400 IM at the ACC Championships with a time of 3:51.17…placed seventh in the 200 fly with a final time of 1:45.03 after swimming a personal best in prelims of 1:44.64 at the UGA Invite…added a 12th place finish in the 200 IM (1:46.06) and was also 11th in the 400 IM (3:49.48)…also swam in the C final of the 100 fly following a career best time in prelims of 48.19…was selected as the Rookie of the Year at the end of the year banquet.


A member of New Zealand’s national team…is the reigning national champ in the 200 fly.


Born May 18, 1996…son of Igor and Larissa Polianski…his father¬†¬†won the gold medal in 200 backstroke at the 1988 Olympics for the USSR in Seoul. He also held the World Record in the 100 back from March 15-Aug. 12, 1988.
