Placed seventhin the 500 free (4:37.13) fourth in the 100 fly (50.32) before taking second in the 200 fly (1:50.43) at the UF Last Chance Invite… swam in the C final of the 200 fly with a time of 1:50.37 at the UGA Invite…swam in the 500 free (4:38.93) and 100 fly (49.36) individual events…was given the Coaches’ Award at the end of the year banquet.
Competed at the Last Chance Bulldog Invite where he posted a 4:37.79 in the 500 free which was the third fastest on the team during 2015-16…swam his season best in the 100 fly (50.67) and 200 fly (1:52.00) at the Georgia Invite in December of 2015…an Olympic Trial qualifier in the 100 fly…was the Golden Torch winner.
Swam a career best times in the 100 and 200 fly at the UF Last Chance Invite…placed ninth in the 200 IM, 27th in the 100 fly and 12th in the 200 fly at the GT Invite. ..took fifth in the 200 fly and was eighth in the 100 fly in the victory over Florida Southern…placed seventh in the 200 fly in the dual against Florida.
Took silver in the 100 fly and earned All-American consideration honors on top of placing third in the 200 free at the 2013 3A FHSAA State Championships for A. Crawford Mosley High School… was a finalist in 2012 in the 200 and 500 free, placing eighth in the 200 and sixth in the 500 while helping his team to the gold in the 200 medley relay and state runner up team finish… a junior national qualifier in five events.
Born June 17, 1996…son of Scott and Lori Ratliff…academically is ranked third in his class at A. Crawford Mosley where he is a member of National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Beta Club Historian…won the Science Award at State Beta Convention in 2014…is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American…Dean’s List…earned AP Scholar with Distinction in 2013 and a National Merit Letter of Commendation…was a FSU Presidential Scholar Finalist…grandfather Thomas Hancock played basketball for Penn State.
