Redshirt Sophomore Year: Spring

Went 3-0 in doubles this spring…teamed up with Jordan Kelly-Houston to defeat Miami 8-6

Fall:

Posted a 7-4 record in singles, good for fourth on the team…posted a 4-1 record at the Seminole Intercollegiate where he reached the finals of the B Draw…did not get broken on serve during the qualifying round at the ITA Southeast Regionals…had a 5-3 doubles record…posted a 4-2 record with Jason Zafiros…reached the finals of the Seminole Intercollegiate doubles draw where he lost to teammates Dominic Cotrone and Anderson Reed.

Redshirt Freshman Year (Illinois):

Recorded 17 doubles wins and six in singles … Went 4-2 at No. 2 doubles and 6-4 at No. 3 doubles … Went 7-3 when paired with Dennis Nevolo, including a 4-0 mark in Big Ten play.

Freshman Year (Illinois):

Sat out season as a redshirt.

High School

Was rated a five-star recruit by tennisrecruiting.net … Has been ranked as high as No. 55 nationally and third in the state … Advanced to the final eight at the 2009 Midwest Open, as well as the final 16 at the USTA Spring National Championships and Gator Bowl.
