Is 13-1 at the No. 1, 2 and 3 positions and 1031 in doubles …went a perfect 3-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles in Hawai’i against the University of Hawai’i (Jan. 5-6) and Texas Tech (Jan. 8)…helped lead the Seminoles to a Florida State Spring Invitational championship with a 3-0 record on the weekend at the number one, two and three position, also went 2-0 in doubles with partner Aziz Dougaz…earned a match-clinching victory against Quentin Coulaud on court two with a 6-4, 6-2 win…Clinched the doubles point against Florida Gulf Coast (Jan. 20) and gave the Seminoles a 3-0 lead with a 6-2, 6-2 win on court one…went 2-0 during the ITA Kickoff weekend (Jan. 27-28) with a 6-2, 6-4 win over #64 Bjoern Petersen…defeated the No. 8 player in the country Johannes Ingildsen on court one to tie the match at 3-3 against No. 8 Florida during the College MatchDay event hosted at the USTA National Center in Lake Nona, Fla. live on the tennis channel (Feb. 3)…defeated Florida’s No. 10 ranked doubles pair with partner Alex Knaff, 6-4…went 2-0 in doubles with partner Alex Knaff, including a 6-0 shutout of The Citadel during the doubleheader including Florida A&M and The Citadel (Feb. 10)…earned the last point in a 6-1 win over Drake (Mar. 16) with a three-set win on court two…was the first finish against Georgia Tech (Mar. 16) and tied the match up at one with a 6-1, 6-3 win on court two…
Earned a 7-4 singles record and a 2-1 doubles record in the fall…gathered two singles victories over ranked opponents including a 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 win over Johannes Schretter of Baylor and a 1-6, 6-3, 7-5 win over Wayne Mongomery of Georgia…went 2-2 in the ITA All-American main draw, with his two wins coming against ranked opponents…went 3-1 at the ITA Southeast Regional, making it to the quarterfinals…defeated Alex Phillips of Georgia 6-4, 6-0 in the first round, Michael Kay of Georgia tech 6-4, 7-5 in the second round and Oliver Crawford of Florida 1-6, 7-5, 7-5 in the third round…went 2-1 with partner Alex Knaff in the Southeast regional…qualified for the ITA Fall Championships in Indian Wells, Calif. and went 2-1…defeated Eduardo Mena of Tennessee Tech in the first round and Jackie Tange of Columbia in the second round.
After a dominating fall, Iradukunda established himself at the top of the lineup for the Seminoles, playing primarily at the No. 2 spot in singles and at the No. 1 court in doubles…named to the All-ACC second team following the season…finished second on the team in singles wins (14) and doubles wins (17), and total wins (31)…reached career-high singles ranking of 59 in January…clinched the 4-1 comeback victory over No. 40 Pepperdine on ACC Network Extra on February 24…won three straight matches in the month of March over Clemson, No. 67 Miami, and at No. 34 Louisville…at No. 11 North Carolina, defeated All-American No. 19 Ronnie Schneider 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (7-3) in a third set tiebreak for his highest-ranked victory of the spring…defeated NC State’s No. 80 Nick Horton and No. 106 Jai Corbett of Virginia Tech in the final week of the regular season to finish with three ITA-ranked singles wins…finished the spring with a 14-12 singles record…on court one doubles with Dougaz, began the season with 11 straight victories while leading the team to 10 straight doubles points to open the year…the Seminoles earned 21 total doubles points on the year behind Iradukunda and Dougaz, who led the way with three nationally-ranked doubles victories: No. 48 Carlos Benito/Carlos Divar of Georgia Tech, Clemson’s No. 37 Sam Edwards/Daffra Sanon in the ACC Championship, and No. 6 Mike Redlicki/Jose Salazar of Arkansas in the first round of the NCAA Championship…finished with a 12-6 record with Dougaz…ended the season a career-high ranking of No. 58 in final ITA doubles rankings…also posted a 3-1 record on court three with senior Jack Haffey as Dougaz missed time while away for Davis Cup competition…recorded a 2-0 record with freshman Alex Knaff on court one to bring overall doubles record to 17-7 on the year.
Enrolled in the summer and went on to record one of the finest fall seasons in program history…in October, became just the second Seminole in school history to claim an ITA Regional Championship, joining Clint Bowles in 2009…defeated four nationally-ranked players including No. 16 Wayne Montgomery of Georgia in the final round to claim the ITA Southeast Regional singles championship…With the regional title, earned a bid into the exclusive 32-man field of the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing, New York…fell to No. 7 Skander Mansouri in three sets in the main draw and No. 6 Tom Fawcett in the consolation bracket…defeated 2015 NCAA single champion Ryan Shane in the Tallahassee Futures in December…also reached the doubles final of the Tallahassee Futures paired with fellow Seminole Aziz Dougaz…for the fall, posted a 7-5 overall record in singles and 8-1 record in doubles, including a 4-0 record when paired with Jose Gracia.
Top junior college player in the nation at Seminole State College…named Junior College National Player of the Year by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association…won the Flight One singles and doubles championships to lead Seminole State College to a second-place finish at the NJCAA national tournament…entered the tournament 32-5 on the year and the top-ranked player at the JUCO level…won the 2015 regional singles and doubles championship while at Seminole State and was ranked in the top four nationally his entire time…the No. 1 player in Africa in 2014, was ranked as high as No. 86 in the world in the ITF junior rankings and traveled with the ITF team. He has won four career ITF junior singles championships, and five juniors doubles titles…career-high rankings of 1135 in doubles and 1504 in singles…prior to JUCO, ranked as high as the 86th best junior in the world…paired with current sophomore Aziz Dougaz to win the doubles championship at the ITF Futures Morocco in 2014…competed in the 2014 Youth Olympics in Beijing.
