PERFORMANCE RESULTS

Florida high school product who took up the javelin on his own while in high school…a walk-on from Tampa Jesuit who has developed into an ACC scorer and holds the No. 9 mark in school history…pointing to an NCAA East Preliminary appearance in his final season of eligibility.

2014

Enjoyed breakout season as a junior, eclipsing 60 meters in the javelin for the first time in his career on two ocassions…let fly his lifetime-best effort of 61.67m (202-4) to win the Seminole Twilight meet and etch his name on FSU’s all-time top 10 list at No. 9…narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA postseason…placed eighth at the ACC Outdoor Championships for the second consecutive year, contributing to the team title…his first 60-meter throw (60.39/198-1) came in a victory at the Seminoles Invitational.

2013

Highlight of the year came at his first ACC Championship appearance where he placed eighth, scoring  as the Noles won the team title…season-best performance came at the FSU Relays when he recorded a mark of 58.26 (191-2)…was runner-up at both the Seminole Invitational and Seminole Twilight meets…posted his first career victory at the UNF Spring Break Invitational (57.50).

2012

Competed in four meets as a freshman with his top performance coming in his hometown at the USF Bulls Invitational (53.19m/174-6) where he placed fifth…had a season-best third-place finish at the Seminole Invitational.

Personal

Competed in track & field, cross country and football at Tampa Jesuit…self-taught javelin thrower who learned from watch YouTube videos…all of his competitive javelin experience prior to FSU came during the summer months…senior closing in on his degree in chemical science…born May 3, 1993.
