PERFORMANCE RESULTS

Redshirt senior tri-captain has just one outdoor season of eligibility remaining…earned All-American honors for the Seminoles at the 2014 NCAA Indoor Championships, placing third in the triple jump…came to FSU as a transfer from Alabama and is currently enrolled in graduate school.

2014

Competed only during the indoor season after arriving in January from Alabama…finished in the top three in four of the five meets he competed, exceeding 16 meters for the first time in his triple jump career in all four ocassions…put together his second-longest mark at the NCAA Indoor Championships (16.28m/53-5) to finish third, despite suffering a serious injury that would sideline him for the outdoor season…helped the Noles to the ACC Indoor Championships team title with his triple jump victory…turned in a lifetime-best mark of 16.32m (53-6.50) to finish third at the Tyson Invitational…it was the No. 3 indoor mark in FSU history and stood as the second-best collegiate jump of the season…scored his first win as a Seminole at the Cherry & Silver Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M.

At Alabama

Jamaican national competed for the Crimson Tide from 2011-2013…earned 2013 NCAA Indoor All-American honors in the triple jump, placing fifth with a then lifetime-best mark of (15.98m) in his first NCAA Championships appearance…originally competed in both the high jump and triple jump…his high jump PR (2.14m/7-0.25) came in his first meet for Alabama in 2011…earned All-SEC honors four times in two-plus seasons.

Personal

One of several Jamaican-born athletes dotting the FSU roster…attended Kingston College (high school) before signing with Alabama…had significant experience representing his home country, competing in both the IAAF World Junior Championships and the World Youth Championships…won the U20 CARIFTA games title in the high jump and finished second in the triple jump…placed third in the boys high jump at the 2010 Penn Relays…won the Jamaican boys high jump title and helped Kingston College to four national high school championships and captained the team in 2010…was a four-time Jamaican national junior high jump champion and also won a triple jump title…majoring in criminology at FSU…born May 9, 1992.
