Ultra-talented long sprinter from the Bahamas who anchored FSU school record 4×100 and 4×400 (indoor) relay teams…ranked No. 7 in the indoor 200 and No. 4 in the indoor 400 at the conclusion of his career…was ACC Indoor Freshman of the Year in 2012.
Indoor – anchored his second school record relay team at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 4×400, teaming with countryman Alonzo Russell, James Harris and Dentarius Locke for third place in 3:05.13…was on the anchor carry for NCAA-qualifying win of the 4×400 at Notre Dame’s Alex Wilson Invitational…won the ACC Indoor Championships 200-meter title in a PB of 20.90 and was the runner-up in the 400 after posting PB of 46.98 in the prelims.
Outdoor – closed season with spectacular anchor on 4×100 at NCAA Championships where the Noles claimed silver in an FSU-record time of 38.57…advanced to the second round of the 200 at the NCAA East Preliminary but came up short of qualifying for NCAA Championships despite SB 20.99…was runner-up at the ACC Outdoor Championships in the 400 after posting a PB (46.97) in the preliminary heats…also anchored 4×400 to a third-place finish.
Indoor – selected 2012 ACC Indoor Track Freshman of the Year after capturing the conference title in the 400 (47.78) and finishing third in the 200 (21.32) for the champion `Noles…established season-best 400 (47.34) at SPIRE Invitational.
Brings an impressive resume to FSU after starring on the junior level for the Bahamas…won 2011 World Youth Games gold in the 200-meter dash in a career-best 20.89 last summer in France…established a new personal-best in the 400-meter dash last spring in his hometown of Nassau (47.12)…won bronze at the 2011 CARIFTA Games (U-20) in the 400 (47.32) also a member of Bahamian bronze medal 4×100 relay team…won the gold in the 400m hurdles at the 2010 CARIFTA Games (U-17) in a championship record time of 52.75…born Aug. 5, 1992.
