PERFORMANCE RESULTS

One of the most decorated long jumpers in ACC and FSU history…Zimbabwe native owns three ACC long jump titles and ranks No. 6 outdoor and No. 7 indoor on the Seminoles’ all-time top 10 lists…big point-scorer for FSU’s sweep of ACC team titles… out-of-competition injury in the fall could delay his final season of eligibility.

2014

Earned second-team All-American honors by placing 11th in the long jump at the NCAA Outdoor Championships…qualified seventh out of the East Preliminary and was also part of FSU NCAA Championship-qualifying 4×100 relay…won Seminole Twilight with a career-best mark (7.87m/25-10)…finished second at ACC Outdoor Championships despite matching the winner’s top leap of 7.62m (25-0)…indoor season ended prematurely when he came up .01cm shy of qualifying for NCAA Indoor Championships on tie-breaker…won ACC Indoor long jump title with a mark of 7.70m (25-3.25)…returned to team after spending 2012-13 school year at home.

2012

Qualified for NCAA East Preliminary meet in the long jump…earned postseason spot by winning the ACC title with leap of 7.57m (24-10)…matched that mark at Georgia Tech Invitational…qualified for NCAA Indoor Championships in long jump but was scratched due to injury…rebounded from emergency surgical procedure early in season to win ACC long jump title (7.67m/25-2), helping `Noles to team title…also competed in the 60 at ACC meet…recorded career-best 6.78 in the 60 to place fourth at Razorback.

2011

Member of NCAA Championships qualifying 4×100 relay from East Preliminary…also qualified for East Prelim in long jump…ACC long jump runner-up to teammate Ngoni Makusha as `Noles won seventh consecutive team title…had wind-aided 7.94m (26-0.75) at Seminole Twilight…finished fifth at ACC Indoor Championships in the long jump and also reached finals in the triple jump…season-best mark of 7.39m (24-3) came at Tyson Invitational.

Outstanding prospect recruited from Zimbabwe by FSU assistant and native Ken Harnden…followed in the footsteps of countryman and Seminole great Ngoni Makusha…majoring in economics…born May 28,1991.
