Cracked the 18-meter mark four times in seven outdoor shot put events…unleashed lifetime-best mark of 18.93m (62-1.25) at Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational for the win; the No. 3 outdoor mark in program history…opened outdoor season with then career-best marks in both the shot put (18.33m) and discus (53.47m/175-5) at FSU Relays, claiming discus title…competed in five indoor meets, claiming second team All-ACC honors with sixth-place shot put finish at conference championship…highlight came at Virginia Tech’s Doc Hale Invitational where his throw of 17.97m (58-11.50) was the No. 6 mark in program history.

A four-time Florida 3A champion after sweeping both the shot put and discus titles as a junior and senior for Gulf Breeze High School…also starred in football as an offensive tackle, earning a handful of major college scholarship offers, opting instead to concentrate on the throws…ranked among the national leaders in both the shot put and discus in high school, where he posted PRs of 60-9 (shot) and 193-0 (discus)…father Mike was an All-Metro Conference scorer in the discus for the Seminoles…born March 4, 1995.
