PERFORMANCE PROFILE

The top Florida high school distance signee to join the Seminoles under head coach Bob Braman…enjoyed outstanding freshman cross country season…will compete indoors in the 5000 and jump to 10,000 outdoors with an eye toward earning spot in USA Junior Championships.

2016 Cross Country:

Spent majority of first season filling the Nos. 2 or 3 spots in the Seminole lineup…three-time recipient of ACC Freshman of the Week honors…finished third among teammates in first three events…debuted with sixth-place overall finish at adidas XC Challenge (18:14.7, 6k)…was third overall at FSU Invitational (25:23.6, 8k)…placed 31st overall at first ACC Championships (24:10.1, 8k) and was Noles’ No. 2 finisher at NCAA South Region in 10k debut (31:17.2).

Personal:

Swept FHSAA 3A state titles in cross country and on the track in the 1600 and 3200 as a senior…made his second consecutive Foot Locker National appearance…a three-time state championship qualifier in both the 1600 and 3200, as well as cross country…boasts PBs of 4:13.97 (1600), 9:14.71 (3200) and 15:01.000 (5k cross country)…collected All A Academic Excellence Award each of his final three years at Merritt Island High…also honored for work in calculus…intends to major in computer science at FSU…born May 20, 1998.
